But 78% said a Dreamer-like adult brought to the country as a child, with no other crimes, should be allowed to stay.
Tax compliance mattered: 73% said a self-employed immigrant who files taxes with a legal IRS taxpayer number should stay, while 56% said a cash worker who does not report or pay taxes should be deported.

ANMP’s October 2025 tariff test found voters did not place tariffs neatly into an ideological box: 35% called them neither free-market capitalism nor big-government socialism, 29% called them free-market capitalism, and 19% called them big-government socialism.
Calling the policy “President Trump’s tariff plan” barely changed those judgments, suggesting the public’s view of tariffs was more about the policy itself than the political label.
At the same time, 87% agreed that middle- and working-class tax relief is needed to grow the economy and give people relief from high prices.

When ANMP tested a harder U.S. response to Iran-backed attacks on American troops in February 2024, 54% supported direct U.S. strikes on Iran and 30% opposed. (link)
After respondents heard both the deterrence case and the argument that strikes could trigger a wider Middle East war, support remained at 51% versus 31% opposed.
The same poll found 47% said the administration was not doing enough to defend U.S. troops from Iran-backed attacks, compared with 28% who said it was doing enough.

Does this also describe your own political leanings? I'm not a fan of "progressive" or "liberal" thinking in todays world. We tried it for the last 60 or 80 years, and it has produced nothing but 2 generations of unmotivated and ignorant children who are now liberal adults making bad decisions in our social and political environments, and produced a conservative movement that is barely able to hold its own constituency in check.
