Trump Administration Reaches Drug Pricing Deals With 9 Companies

The administration finalized most-favored-nation drug-pricing agreements with nine additional pharmaceutical companies, bringing the total to 26 deals covering 89% of the branded-drug market, according to The Wall Street Journal.

Apparently most Americans do not understand the bribery which is covered by our "campaign finance" laws. It seems that if Pfizer gives a $10,000 "campaign contribution;" to the extent that is not actually used for campaigning, the remainder can be reported as "personal income" and used by the Congress person as his own money. That seems the definition of "bribery," and certainly would have the same consequence. That's one of the reasons why "committee leadership" is so forcefully sought after, and that even further dilutes a legislature's personal ethics and focus on representing his constituents.
